3 Core Reasons WHY Morality is important to the socialization process today?

Socialization leads to desirable outcomes—or “moral outcomes”— in regards to the society where it occurs.

Individual views are influenced by the society’s consensus and usually tend toward what that society finds acceptable or “normal”.

Morality refers to the principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behavior. For example “innocent prisoners ought to be freed.” (MacKay, 2005)
